Airworld Travel is owned and operated by Airworld Travel & Tours Sdn. Bhd., a company registered in Malaysia. The following Privacy Policy describes how we, as a data controller, collect, use, disclose, and otherwise process personally identifiable information that we collect about individuals (“Personal Data”) in connection with the services available from Airworld Travel through the website located at www.airworld.travel.
Airworld Travel will revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the law, including our Personal Data collection and use practices, or information on our site. Those changes will be updated in this Privacy Policy together with the effective date.
What Information do We Collect?
Personal information such as name and email address will be requested in order to create a reservation. You might also be asked for your home address, telephone number, Identity Card, date of birth, passport details (including passport number, passport issuance date, and passport expiry date), payment information, names of guests travelling, and other demographic information.
In order to purchase our products or services, it is necessary to provide accurate credit card details. If you fail to provide these, we cannot confirm your purchase or fulfil your booking.
Upon registering with Airworld Travel, basic information including your name and email address will be collected.
Airworld Travel will ask for reviews once you finish the tour, which enables you to upload photos, fill out your public profile, and rate the merchants. We may store this content and display it to the public for promotional purposes. Please note that if you include personal information or photos in your content, it can be used and viewed by others.
If you connect to Airworld Travel using Facebook, we may also collect information that you have chosen to make available in your privacy settings, subject to your approval.
Upon registering for the T-Dollar programme, basic information including your name and email address will be collected and shared with affiliated partners and suppliers where necessary.
How We Use Your Personal Information
The personal data collected from you is being, and will continue to be, used for purposes including without limitation:
- To provide you with the information you request about our products;
- To send you email marketing messages, social media messages and information (including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, blog) and newsletters;
- To operate your account;
- To fulfil your bookings;
- To confirm your purchases;
- To ensure you are correctly billed;
- To send to the bank for authorisation of transactions and for payment;
- To fulfil your requests, including redemption requests;
- To process your membership application;
- To measure and track demographic details about our customers;

- To conduct market research;
- To target content on our website to more closely match your interests;
- To target appropriate content for email marketing messages to better match your interests;
- To share part of your contact details with our service partners (e.g. tour operators, hotels) who are directly involved in fulfilling the purchases you made from us;
- To promote offers on Airworld Travel’s products and services and those of our business partners;

- To reply to enquiries made via call, email, letters, faxes, or social media tools;
- To administer your participation in contests and surveys;

- For all other purposes incidental and associated with any of the above.

Your personal data will be kept confidential, but such personal data may be provided to the following parties for the purposes set out above:
- Our Partners, including promotional or short-term Partners and Business Partners, and/or any other company that is permitted to supply products and/or services to members of Airworld Travel;
- Any agents, service providers and/or subcontractors of Airworld Travel and its affiliates;
- Any person to whom Airworld Travel proposes to transfer any of its rights and/or duties relating to any matters of Airworld Travel;
- And/or any other person(s) required or permitted by law or any regulatory authorities.
All parties mentioned above are required to protect the confidentiality of the personal data they receive.
Our Business Partners and Suppliers
Our services are made available through our third-party distribution partners and suppliers. Our distribution partners and suppliers may have privacy policies that differ from www.airworld.travel. You should be aware that some tour suppliers or distribution partners may need additional personal or other information (such as health or physical fitness information) to determine whether you can participate in an activity. You should read and rely upon the relevant supplier’s or partner’s privacy policy.
Protecting Your Personal Data
To prevent unauthorised access, we maintain reasonable physical, electronic and organisational procedures to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, or unauthorised disclosure or access.
Security
At Airworld Travel we seek to maintain the highest integrity and security of your personal information.
No data transmission over the internet or data storage environment can be guaranteed to be 100% secure, so we cannot give an absolute assurance that the personal information provided to us will be secure at all times. Airworld Travel will not be held responsible for cases arising from unauthorised access to your personal information. Airworld Travel will rely on you to inform us of any unusual events that may indicate a breach in your information security. We will then seek to investigate whether the security breach was related to Airworld Travel.
Cookies, Browser Storage and Analytics
Airworld Travel uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our website and to remember selected preferences.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to measure website usage. This may include pages visited, interactions with tour packages, and clicks on our WhatsApp contact options, including the selected branch and package code. A WhatsApp click does not give our website access to your WhatsApp conversations.

Saved Preferences
We use browser local storage to remember your selected language and, on certain pages, your light or dark theme preference. Local storage is separate from cookies and may remain until you clear it or your browser removes it.
